If your running that short of a gap in the rear cassette then I'd recommend getting a short cage derailleur. Maybe even a road derailleur. It would make for much crisper shifting and a higher tension on the chain.

The shop I work at just started carrying Mirraco bikes. They look sweet. I don't ride BMX anymore, but seeing these bikes really makes me want to go hit some dirt jumps on one of them with no brakes... Killer Rush

Yeah, I've got a fox 36 on there now, which completely changed the geometry of the bike. Sorry bout the fuzz, it was a low-light situation.

the landscape is a dirt jump. a really big one too. whats so boring about that? If you ride bikes thats all you need.

just the frame. I don't know what shipping would be. I live in DC which is far from whistler. I know that to california its about 60-75, but I don't know how much more would be added for international charges (customs and such). if you want you can do a shipping calc. Yeah, I've got a real crappy digital camera. A real crappy $400 digital camera. I can't change the shutter speed so all my pictures come out blurry. Stupid Nikon. And their supposed to be the best...
